UMW Announces Donation Pledge of Land from John and Phyllis Erb
The University of Montana Western is excited to announce the pledge to donate 14 acres of land by John and Phyllis Erb adjacent to the UMW campus for the creation of a new stadium. The Erb family, whose donations have been the catalysts for numerous community enhancement projects in the Dillon area, including the Jaycee Park Renovation, have generously pledged to donate the plot.
Bill Janus Publishes Essay on The Revelator
Montana Western History Professor, Bill Janus, recently published an essay titled “The Toxic Legacy of Environmental Neoliberalism,” on The Revelator, an online news source that shares the ideas and initiatives of the Center for Biological Diversity.

The community is invited to attend a wide variety of events in February at the University of Montana Western including a Bridges to Business Speaker Series, an alumni appreciation red out game, and a fun run fundraiser supporting the UMW and Beaverhead County High School (BCHS) cross-country and track program.
