PHYSICAL EDUCATION & HEALTH K-12 MAJOR

Program Information

Teacher education candidates in Physical Education and Health K-12 are prepared to for Montana educator licensure in two fields: Physical Education and Health. Students complete field experiences in elementary and secondary classroom and physical activity settings. Completing the rigorous exercise science core along with teaching methods courses allows students to develop evidence based strategies designed to enhance the health and wellbeing of students at all stages of development. Students should refer to the Teacher Education Program materials of the Montana Western Education Department for additional degree requirements.
