Grant Writing Workshops

This is a two-part grant writing workshop with Grant Writing Basics in the morning and Tackling Grant Budgets in the afternoon. You can sign up for them separately or take both! Grant Writing Basics: This 3 hour interactive workshop is a comprehensive overview of grant writing and grants management. Learn where to find grants, how to write a letter of interest, how to write a complete proposal, develop project budgets, learn best practices for communicating with grantmakers, create work plans and timelines, develop goals and objectives, evaluation strategy, and learn tips and tools staying organized. For non-profits, federal grants, state, and personal grant writing.

Workshop fee: $50 (FREE to Montana Western staff & faculty)

Tackling Grant Budgets: Are you interested in applying for a grant? Do you want to learn how to write an effective grant budget? A grant budget is an important tool that helps build trust with the funder and demonstrates a good return on their investment. Attend this workshop to learn how to develop a realistic grant budget that will strengthen your proposal. You will be using Excel to create a budget during the workshop.
