Discussion of Montana Western's Micro-Credential Grant Project

A recent grant from the National Science Foundation positions Montana Western, along with collaborators from the University at Buffalo in NY state, as national leaders in micro-credentialing research. Join project leaders from UMW and UB as they discuss micro-credentialing in higher ed, as well as how micro-credentials might be used to development partnerships between higher education, employers, and other organizations to recognize traditionally under-assessed learning.

Faculty, students, community members, regional employers, and organizations interested in learning more about micro-credentials and the development of partnerships with Montana Western are encouraged to attend.

Presenters: Dr. Samuel Abramovich is one of the nation’s leading researchers on digital badges and micro-credentials. Anne Reed is Director of Micro-credentials at the University at Buffalo. Justin Mason is Director of eLearning at UM Western.
