UMW Announces Donation Pledge of Land from John and Phyllis Erb
The University of Montana Western is excited to announce the pledge to donate 14 acres of land by John and Phyllis Erb adjacent to the UMW campus for the creation of a new stadium. The Erb family, whose donations have been the catalysts for numerous community enhancement projects in the Dillon area, including the Jaycee Park Renovation, have generously pledged to donate the plot.
Brett Walker to Present at Dances With Words Event
Brett Walker, an author residing in Bozeman, Mont., will share readings from his published works at Dances with Words on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in The Cup on the Montana Western campus, including his recent historical memoir titled, “A Family History of Illness.”
UMW Professor Published in the Ukrainian Journal of Physics
Dr. Craig Zaspel of the UMW Environmental Sciences Department was recently featured in The Ukrainian Journal of Physics as lead author in an article about his collaborative work with a team of international researchers.
Montana Campus Compact Honors Student Athlete Volunteers
Montana Campus Compact (MTCC), a seventeen campus higher education network, will be honoring fourteen student-athletes, including Montana Western redshirt sophomore Tanner Haverfield, for their outstanding community service work.
