Avalanche Awareness and Safety Presentation

The School of Outreach teams up with Dillon’s Pioneer Mountain Education Foundation (PMEF) and Friends of Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center to present a multimedia presentation on how to be safe during the avalanche season.

Instructor Alex Dunn is a co-founder of the PMEF and an employee of the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest who teaches avalanche safety. He has been a winter back-country skier, ski mountaineer, and snowmobiler for 20 years around the western U.S.

The presentation is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. For more information, please contact the School of Outreach by calling 406-683-7324.
